DH Pace Provides Dock Solution for National Organization

PROBLEM
A national organization implemented a new safety program and determined their distribution centers’ docks did not meet their standards for safety.
SOLUTION
DH Pace presented a package solution that could be installed at each location, ensuring consistent equipment for easier facility management and maintenance while enhancing worker safety. Over 100 existing mechanical dock levelers were replaced with air-powered levelers. In a proactive move, more than 200 automatic vehicle restraints were installed at docks across five distribution centers in separate states. Adding the restraints significantly enhanced the safety of dock workers, particularly when driving a forklift in and out of trailers.
The result is drastically safer docks for employees of each distribution center. The restraints minimize the risk of trailer separation to keep the dock workers, forklift drivers, and truck drivers safe.
